Downtown Chicago
A downtown spa for people who work downtown.
Up the Red Line from the Loop. Evening and Saturday appointments, so your skin does not have to compete with your calendar.
For the working week
The reason most people stop is scheduling, not results
Almost everyone who lets a skin routine lapse does it for the same reason. The appointment was at two on a Tuesday and the meeting moved. Not because the treatment stopped working.
So we hold late slots Tuesday through Friday and a full Saturday, and we keep a shorter appointment on the menu for weeks when an hour is not available. Consistency beats intensity with skin, and a shorter session you actually attend beats a long one you keep moving.
Downtown treatments
Six treatments that fit a working week
Ordered roughly by how little time they take. The first three fit comfortably inside a long lunch, the last three are worth booking for an evening.
Brow, lip, chin and full face. Our shortest appointment, and the one downtown clients most often slot into a lunch hour.
Face and body with hypoallergenic Italian wax. Quick, predictable, and easy to keep on a standing six week booking.
Thirty minutes, done properly, by estheticians who do it all day. Combination bookings available if you are already in.
The facial downtown clients book before a pitch or a photograph. Visible the same afternoon, nothing to recover from.
Exfoliation that makes makeup sit flat. Popular with anyone whose job involves being looked at closely.
The one to book on an evening rather than a lunch break. Runs as a short course, spaced three to four weeks apart.
Also at the studio: DMK enzyme therapy, chemical peels, VI Peel, brow lamination and LED therapy. A downtown med spa option without leaving the neighbourhood you already commute through.
If you only have forty minutes
A shorter appointment is not a worse one
We would rather see you for forty minutes every three weeks than ninety minutes twice a year. Skin responds to rhythm, and the shorter slot still opens with a proper read of what your skin is doing that day.
What comes out is the extended massage and the unhurried finish, not the analysis or the active work. Say when you booked that you are on a clock and your esthetician will build around it.
Up the Red Line from the Loop
Grand station is a short walk from the door, and the 151 runs down Michigan Avenue from the Loop hotels and offices. Directions and parking.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get here from the Loop?
The Red Line north to Grand is the simplest route, then a short walk east. The 151 up Michigan Avenue also works and drops you two blocks away.
We are at 230 E Ohio Street, Suite 112. It is walkable from State and Madison in good weather, but plan for transit in January.
Can I get a facial on a lunch break?
What are your evening and weekend hours?
Tuesday to Friday until 7pm, and Saturday nine to five. Closed Sunday and Monday.
The late slots and the Saturday book up first, so they are worth taking as a standing appointment rather than booking week to week.
Do you do waxing and Brazilians downtown?
Where do I park if I drive in?
Paid garages sit on Ohio Street and on Grand Avenue within a block. On a weekday it is usually cheaper and faster to leave the car and take the Red Line up.
If you are coming off Lake Shore Drive, the Ohio Street exit puts you two blocks from the door.
If River North or the Magnificent Mile is a shorter hop for you, those pages set out the same studio from there. Everywhere we cover is on areas we serve.
What if a meeting runs over and I miss my slot?
Tell us as early as you can and we will move it. Changes and cancellations are free up to 24 hours ahead (full policy).
Inside 24 hours a fee applies, because a missed slot in a single room studio cannot be refilled at short notice. It is not a penalty so much as arithmetic.
